I've never been but it's on my bucket list. I would be content just sitting on a bench and watching the people (as long as I got to see a few celebrities!). Have fun!!

Several of my favorite things: Bourbon-based drinks, and gals in hats. In Virginia, some circles consumed the "Jefferson Julep"... a Mint Julep with a bit less simple syrup and a dose of VERY strong cold black tea in the ice. Some just use cold tea to make the ice itself. The flavor is fantastic.

Thanks, everyone, for you kind comments. James, yes, Hubby is planning to wear his grandfather's "Open Road" Stetson that day. It's his good luck charm. And for those of you who asked about my outfit, I'm planning to wear a simple pink dress with a fabulous hat I found the other day. It's having the final touches being put on it and I plan to pick it up this weekend. Can't wait!
