For those of you who watch Lively on "Gossip Girl" (I admit, I have tuned in a time or two), you're aware of how fashion-forward the show is and how Lively's character, as well as that of her buddy Blair (played by Leighton Meister), are always wearing the latest and greatest frocks. So, it's nice to see that Lively also has the same sense of style off-screen (I guess I would, too, if Chanel were throwing clothes my way).

Hope everyone had a great weekend. My Kentucky Wildcats won their last game of the regular season, beating Tennessee at Tennessee. Take that, Bruce Pearl. This gives us a "bye" going into the SEC tournament. Woo, hoo! And so, March Madness begins as productivity at offices across the country declines.
Tomorrow is Mardi Gras - don't forget to pick up a King Cake!

I love GG! Except my style is more in-line with Blair. I still love Blake Lively though. She's adorable!

I have seen GG a few times when my daughter is over visiting.
I love Blake Lively (and Leighton Meester) - I think they are both stunning young women. And I would love to have Blake's confidence, she wears everything with a great attitude.
Blake L just gets it right every time- the blue and green dress looks just amazing on her. I have never seen her in Gossip Girl - but she is a great actress, did you see her in that movie set in Boston with Ben Affleck, she played a completely different role?
I really enjoyed this piece on Blake Lively in the Style section of the New York Times. Love the photos and what she's wearing. The writer had some interesting insights about why she has become such a style icon.
