Jack Rogers or Bonannos?

I’ve always loved the look of Navajo sandals made famous by Jack Rogers of Palm Beach. But, then there is the Bonanno sandal, pretty much identical to JRs, which are very popular as well. So my fashionista friends, if you have these sandals or are in-the-know, is there a difference between Jack Rogers and Bonannos?

They’re pretty close in price, although Bonannos are about $10 to $15 more than the basic Jack Rogers sandal.

Here's Jacqueline Kennedy sporting Jack Rogers on a Grecian holiday. Hey, if they were good enough for Jackie...

Perfect shoes to sport around a beach-side town. My birthday is coming up - may need to send a gentle reminder to Hubby. Not that he needs a reminder because we have the same birthday. But, more like a suggestion, such as "Hey, these are the shoes I want for my birthday. How 'bout it?"  Too subtle?

Happy Thursday, friends. The weekend will soon be here!

I'm partial to Bonannos, but that's partly because they are made here and I can always just hop in to have repairs made and the colors and options are ENDLESS! You're a little more limited with Jack Rogers but they are expanding. The other thing is with Bonannos, I can get a size seven bottom with a size 7.5 top, because my foot is tall, but not long.

There are both such beauties but I have always been partial to the Jack Rogers, call it Kennedy fever!

I love my Jacks! I'm trying to get a new pair out of my parents soon, to expand my collection!

I have both, and personally, I like my Bonannos better than the Jacks. My foot is a touch wide, so the Bonannos fit better, and I love, love, love that the Bonannos have so many more options than the standard Jacks. I had my first pair of Bs monogrammed for my wedding reception, and 4 years later, they're still rockin (and I wear them ALL the time in the summer). My plan is to always have at least one pair of monogrammed ones in my house (but I'd really like a second pair, so I think the fall sale will have another shopper!!).

I didn't know either of them. Here, you would get a pair of Tropeziennes from St Tropez. They look a bit 'Jesus', I agree, but if worn with the right clothes and accessories, can be very fashionable. Sooooo looking forward to summer holidays now! xx

Wow, she always got it just right, didn't she? I have not heard of these sandals, in New Zealand we call them Jandals, not sure why....

I have both but prefer my Jacks. I find the Bonannos to be a bit heavier and after wearing them all day, they hurt my feet and legs.
