Lulu by Leah

Last evening, my family and I gathered with friends for a going-away party for a girlfriend in Junior League, Leah, who is moving to Charleston with her family in the coming months. It was a nice, laid-back cookout, although we had to spend most of the time indoors because of the God-awful heat we’ve been enduring of late. But, everyone had a great time, the kids all played well together and it was good to talk, laugh and just enjoy each other’s company.

After the dinner, we drove by the house we’re buying, which is right down the street from our friends. It finally has a sold sign on it – yea!! Can’t wait to be in the new house!
