Countdown to Midnight

So, after many of you told me time and time again about your favorite films of 2011, I finally sat down and watched "Midnight in Paris." All I can say is: Thank you.

What a wonderful film. That's certainly how I would want to experience Paris. And, given the date, can you imagine ringing in the new year with the likes of Scott and Zelda, Hemmingway and Dali?

Oh, how much fun. Although, it would likely result in far too much drinking, crying and fist fighting with some odd illustrations as parting gifts. You know, your typical New Year's Eve.

As 2011 comes to an end, I want to say thanks to all of you who have left wonderful comments on my blog and continue to return to each day. While I don't always respond to each and every one of you, I can tell you that it thrills me to read comments left on my posts and to know that people are actually reading what I put out there.

I thank you, as well, for creating such wonderful sites to visit. Each of you have great insight on the world and bring a smile to my face with your wit, charm and accounts of everything and anything.

May 2012 bring you the happiest of days. May you  be able to meet the challenges head-on and come out better on the other side. Each day, may you have a good laugh, a delicious meal and a quiet moment with your thoughts. And may you always feel loved.

Happy New Year, friends.

I loved that movie! I need to get a copy of it for my collection :O)

As for comments...many of us are feeling the sting of lower numbers and have no idea why. Perhaps if as bloggers we all committed to comment on as many blogs as possible...even just 'Have a great day!' the blogging world would cheer up. I know the comments keep me going so it's only fair that I do the same for others.
