Gwyneth Paltrow has launched a line of T-shirts and jeans on her website, Goop. Her white T-shirt, which she deems as the "perfect T-shirt," sells for $90.
The perfect white T-shirt, according to Gwyneth Paltrow
How out of touch are you, Ms. Paltrow??

Oh, I think a quick perusal of GOOP answers that question. I read it as a form of entertainment versus information. Also, that shirt is all sorts of ugly.

I agree with the Modern Traditionalist! Please see Gynnie's quotes about being a working mother, and attempting to empathize with all working moms. Lord have mercy!
I agree with the other level headed comments :)
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Ms. Paltrow's. When she made it know years ago that she was going to make movies in the US {make money off of us} but didn't want to live here {and support the US} that really did it for me.

Geez-
I agree with you, Jen! It looks just like my Fruit of the Loom mens small. I can buy enough for a month and never wash for 90 bucks!
Happy Monday.

hmmmmmm?
i guess only she can pull it off.

Speaking practically, a white t-shirt doesn't really have a long shelf life in my wardrobe. One speck of peach juice or dribble of tomato sauce, and it's work out wear. I'd rather buy three or four from Target ($6 each this week) and pull them out as needed over the course of the summer.
Hahahahaha! Good joke, Ms. Paltrow. I doubt a bit of grosgrain on the shoulders is worth that much. And yes, that t-shirt does look ugly and has no shaping.
Hmmmmm...let's see how long that line will last. How many people will spend that kind of money when there are so many good options for far less available?!
One of those cases that seems to perfectly illustrate the "Emperor's New Clothes".
