Former Masters champion Angel Cabrera, left, of Argentina, presents the green jacket to Mickelson for his 2010 Masters win.
The Nelson Bridge near the 13th hole at Augusta, one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world.
While also watching The Masters, I couldn't help thinking about how large their grounds-keeping staff must be. Good God, that place is immaculate! Love those azaleas!
Have a great week, everyone!

If you tuned into The Masters this weekend, you were not disappointed. This was golf at its best. There were birdies, eagles - a plethora of winged animals taking flight. Fortunately, the circus surrounding one golfer, who also bears an animal name, calmed down as the week went on. The game of golf was finally the focus and the best came out to play, to the delight of those lucky enough to score tickets along the fairway.
Phil Mickelson, my fellow lefty, came from behind to win. And, to add to the drama of an incredible game, his wife, Amy, came to see him play on his final day. She's been battling breast cancer and has not been well enough to attend any of his tournaments over the last year. But, she was there on Sunday, along with their three children, crying tears of joy.

Wasn't in incredible! It was one of the best Masters I have seen yet.
So emotional!
How did I miss this! Sounds like it was great! Hope your having a great day! xoxo
It was breathtaking and amazing! I won't lie, I totally shed a few happy tears when Phil embraced Amy after the big win. No words necessary, that long sweet hug said it all. Loved seeing how excited his kids were too. What a classy couple! :)
I miss those lazy sundays in front of the telly watching golf, tennis and football! I'm not even a sports fan but there sthg quite American and cool abt these types of activities...
It was a great weekend. My husband was there on Thursday and I asked him what was the most amazing part and he said how perfect every last detail was in the landscape.
It was so incredible and I love the pictures you chose for this post!! It gave me the chills yesterday and it was a true fairytale ending. I'm a lefty too. :)
For several years my parents got practice round tickets and would go. I was always invited, but had no interest. Now, I would like to {just to see the grounds} and we don't get picked. Maybe next year....
What a phenomenal win and sweet celebration! I'm determined to get my husband to the Masters tournament one year - it is his lifelong dream!
I'm not a big fan of watching golf on tv, but I was glued on Sunday. I'm so thrilled that he won, maybe it will show for a little while that good guys still exist in the world. Of course the first headline I saw on line this morning was" Tiger's week at the Masters"!!!
Love the masters, and the winner. xoxo

I agree, it was golf at its best!
Yes, yes, yes, beautiful course, great golf, and the ending - you could not write it better! When he made that last shot, I started crying, and even my husband was wiping a few tears from his eyes when the camera panned around and showed Amy standing there waiting to greet Phil. What a day.
I missed it just like SSM, but caught the highlights and just loved the story to go along with all the fun. It brought tears to my eyes....
How cute are those two.
indeed golf at its best. And the azaleas!! LOVE them.
It was absolutely wonderful! (According to my husband. Jealous Bevy)
