Had to fill up the tank this morning and I about had a heart attack at the pump. Mother of God! I've never seen the dollar ticker go up that high, and it's not like I drive an SUV or some other gas guzzler. Oh, the madness of it all.
TGIF, my friends. Any big plans for the weekend? We have another weekend of soccer (if the rain holds off) and birthday parties. Thunder Over Louisville, the big fireworks display that kicks of the Derby Festival, is Saturday night. But, I don't do the crazy-crowd scene, so we'll be staying far away from the rowdiness.

wow i like those! i got my first pedicure of the season last night and it was fantastic. goodbye closed toed shoes!!
Yes, I cringed last night when my husband told me he had to fill up and then of course I just had to ask how much it was. Ouch!

I love getting into my "jandals" which is what kiwis calls flip flips and these jellys remind me so much of my childhood - love them!
