Goodbye Halloween, Hello November

The kids and their friends loading up on candy at our neighbor's house.

Batman proudly showing off his loot.

Batman and Little Red Riding Hood enjoying the Halloween festivities.

Another Halloween has passed. Little Red Riding Hood, Batman and their friends had a ball sprinting from house to house, loading up on treats. Ugh, I need to get this candy out of my house, pronto. We're heading into the holiday food slide. If I'm not careful, I'll be eating my way into the new year.

Hard to believe it's November. Thanksgiving is about three weeks away! I'm sure we're all looking forward to a few days off. And, of course, plenty of food.

How was your Halloween? Did lots of ghosts and goblins come to visit?

Thanks for sharing your cute ones. It's rare I don't do Halloween, this was one of those years.

Your little ones looked tres adorable!!

Living in Canada , Thanksgiving is behind us (as well as all the straight to the hips yummy food), so we have a few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas to make up for gained roundness ... before all the sugar of Christmas comes our way!! Happy Tuesday..xo HHL

Your sweet little trick-or-treaters looked wonderful! I'm glad they had such a great time and scored so much candy! You guys looked pretty amazing at your party too!

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving over here in Australia so it is all about Christmas at our place! I will be having a small Thanksgiving dinner with my family though, as we just love the reason for that wonderful holiday. I hope that you enjoy the lead up to Thanksgiving.

Best wishes for a great week,
Natasha.

I was Bat Girl and my husband was Bat Man and it snowed like mad here in Baltimore on Saturday when we were going to a party. Luckily his trusty Batmobile had the ability to cut through slush and fly above traffic!
