As Independence Day approaches, I have been thinking about the many blessings bestowed upon us as citizens of this great land. I, for one, feel very fotunate to live in the United States of America.
We'll be celebrating with a neighborhood bike parade for the kids that morning and then heading to my brother's house for a cookout in the afternoon. Across this great nation, grills will be sizzling, swimming pools will be full of frolicking children, watermelon will be eaten in great numbers and fireworks will dot the nighttime sky. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July.
God bless America!

your 4th sounds amazing and yes- we are so blessed even the every day nonsense and routine are gifts that we often do not give enough thanks for!

I hope you have a wonderful 4th!
We certainly are blessed to live in this country. Have a wonderful weekend!
Happy 4th and Happy Birthday America! I love the 4th of July. We'll be celebrating it twice. Tomorrow night we will be celebrating with friends at their house which overlooks an amazing fireworks display. On Saturday we'll be with friends at their house on the beach beneath the stars and another fireworks display. A lot of late nights for the kiddos!
Oh so very true ~ We are very lucky! If the sun actually decides to shine here in CT, we will be spending the day on the beach with friends.
Happy 4th of July ~
Jo
