Cloche Hats

I love cloche hats. They’re oh-so-fashionable and add a chic touch to one’s outfit. Sadly, you don’t see many women donning these chapeaus outside of the Derby or other special events, unless you’re Blair Waldorf from “Gossip Girl,” or Posh Spice. Maybe I could wear one to Mass on Christmas Eve…nah, don’t think I could pull it off.

Perhaps if I snag an invite to the Breeder’s Cup next fall at Churchill Downs I can wear one featuring a fabulous brooch or feather. We’ll see. Either way, I certainly enjoy looking at them. Very pretty.

Well, you know how I feel about cloche hats! I think Christmas Eve mass would be a perfect opportunity to wear one! I am on the verge, I think you have inspired me to do the same! I get the urge everytime I see that picture of Victoria Beckham.

I live my love for hats vicariously through my grand-daughters. I'm too short for hats, but I do love the look. I gave my three grand- daughters cute little cloche hats, sweaters, and leggings to wear to the annual viewing of lights on the square and their visit to Santa.

I agree with the others - Christmas Eve mass would be the perfect time to wear a cute little cloche.

Oh, and thanks for the sweet comments! The color of my walls in the kitchen is Sherwin Williams Quietude. The Great Room and Foyer is SW Ivoire and the Dining Room is SW Blonde (just in case you like those colors too <3 )!

I think this could become my kind of hat. Trilbies and panama hats have both been too fashionable for me - they both look way too trying hard. But a cloche... yes, I can see myself with one.
